Designed around the vehicle’s existing structures and interfaces, the solution can replace or modernise ageing HVAC equipment.
Proven HVAC Technology for Existing Double Deck Steering Car Cabins
Every fleet has its own layout, operating environment and technical requirements. Lumikko designs each HVAC unit to fit the available space and meet the required heating, cooling and ventilation performance. The design takes into account driver comfort, airflow, operating conditions and easy access for maintenance.
Lumikko can supply either an individual HVAC unit or a complete system including performance calculations, 3D design, air ducts, controls and pressure protection. The solution is designed together with the customer to support reliable operation and a long service life.
Energy efficient climate control
Energy efficiency is considered throughout the system design. Demand controlled ventilation adjusts airflow based on measured CO₂ levels, helping maintain good cabin conditions without using unnecessary energy. Combined with high efficiency components and optimised system control, this reduces energy consumption while maintaining reliable heating, cooling and ventilation.
